White House Reviewing OSHA Heat Injury and Illness Proposed Rule

The White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) announced that it is reviewing the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s proposed rule regarding Heat Illness Prevention in Outdoor and Indoor Work Settings. SWACCA submitted comments on OSHA’s Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking regarding heat injury and illness with the Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industry in January 2022. OIRA review is the final step in the regulatory process before a rulemaking is published in the Federal Register.
