The White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) completed its review of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) final rule on “Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in Construction.” SWACCA submitted joint comments with the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT) supporting the PPE in Construction proposed rule in September 2023. The completion of OIRA review is typically the final step before an item is published in the Federal Register.
