White House Border Czar Tom Homan said he will “triple down” on pursuing undocumented immigrants in sanctuary cities such as Los Angeles, saying that these cities “make federal [immigration] enforcement more difficult.” Homan’s remarks come as Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson (D) said on Tuesday that Chicago police “will not ever cooperate” with ICE authorities. On Monday, Homan also pledged that the Trump Administration is preparing to ramp up immigration enforcement in New York City.
