This week, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced the results of Operation Twin Shield, a multi-agency surge of fraud detection and deterrence activities across the Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota area conducted between September 19 to 28 targeting immigration fraud. USCIS said that the operation resulted in the discovery of 275 suspected cases of fraud among applicants and petitioners for immigration benefits including marriage and family-based petitions, employment authorizations, and certain parole-related requests.
