The Trump Labor Department (DOL) posted a new leadership organizational chart revealing that President Trump appointed Vince Micone to be the acting head of the Labor Department pending the confirmation of former Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer’s (R-OR) SWACCA-supported nomination to be the next Labor Secretary. Micone formerly served as deputy assistant secretary for operations in DOL’s Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management. The new organizational chart also shows that Keith Sonderling, Trump’s pick to be the next Deputy Labor Secretary, will serve as senior adviser to the secretary while he awaits confirmation.
