The news site Reuters is reporting that the Trump Administration told recipients of funding under the SWACCA-supported CHIPS and Science Act that it is reevaluating provisions the Biden Administration included in CHIPS Act awards, including provisions encouraging the use of project labor agreements to satisfy workforce planning requirements. The extent to which the Administration may seek to renegotiate some of the awards is not yet clear.
