Last night, the Senate voted 47-41 to confirm Keith Sonderling as U.S. Secretary of Labor. SWACCA endorsed Sonderling’s nomination in a letter to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee in July ahead of his confirmation hearing. The vote to confirm Sonderling was the Senate’s final vote before recessing until after the midterm elections.
