The Trump Administration revoked the extension of the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) program until October 2026 for some 600,000 Venezuelans who were legally in the United States. The Biden Administration had extended TPS for Venezuelans from April 3, 2025 to October 2, 2026 for those Venezuelans who had arrived in the U.S. prior to July 31, 2023 and who have resided in the country continuously. Those who initially received TPS in 2021 will maintain their protections through September, while those who obtained it in 2023 will have them until at least April.
