The White House announced that President Trump sent two nominations for National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) members to the Senate. Scott Mayer, the chief labor counsel at Boeing, was nominated to fill a five-year term expiring December 16, 2029, following the President’s firing of Democrat Lauren McFerran before the end of her term. James Murphy, a former career NLRB attorney, was nominated to fill a five-year term ending in December 16, 2027, replacing former Republican NLRB member John Ring.
