President Trump fired Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Commissioners Alvaro Bedoya and Rebecca Kelly Slaughter, in another major test of the independence of regulatory agencies. Trump has already sparked lawsuits by firing members of other independent agencies including National Labor Relations Board member Gwynne Wilcox.
