Last night, President Trump appointed William B. Cowen Acting General Counsel of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Mr. Cowen has been the Regional Director for NLRB Region 21 in Los Angeles since 2016. From 2006 to 2016, Cowen served as the NLRB’s Solicitor. Before that he worked as Chief of Staff for Republican NLRB Chair Robert Battista from 2002 through 2006. From January 2002 through November 2002, Cowen served as an NLRB Board member appointed by George W. Bush.
