According to a new poll from the Wall Street Journal, 62% of Americans say they remain supportive of President Trump’s goal of deporting undocumented immigrants. However, a slim majority of Americans—including 60% of independent voters—say the methods the Trump Administration is using have crossed the line. The poll cites voter concerns with the Trump Administration deporting people without proof they are in the U.S. illegally, ignoring courts that have told the administration to stop, and denying people a hearing before they’re deported.
