The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) announced a public meeting of the ACCSH on October 29 – 30, 2024. The ACCSH will host three workgroup meetings on October 29, 2024 as follows: (1) the Emerging Technology Workgroup will meet from 9am to 11am ET; (2) the Workzone Workgroup will meet from 12pm to 2pm ET; and (3) the Health in Construction Workgroup will meet from 2:15pm to 4:15pm ET. The full ACCSH will then meet on October 30, 2024 to address the following agenda items: (1) a presentation on “Hearing Conservation in Construction”; (2) a presentation on “Women in Construction”; (3) an update from OSHA’s Directorate of Construction; (4) an update from DOL; (5) ACCSH Workgroup reports on unspecified topics; and (6) a period for public comments.
The meeting will be held on October 29, 2024 from 9am to 4:15pm ET and on October 30, 2024 from 9am to 4pm ET and will be available to the public as follows: (1) in-person in Conference Room C-5521, Room 4, U.S. Department of Labor, 200 Constitution Avenue, NW., Washington, DC 20210; and (2) virtually. Those interested in participating in the meeting in-person must register by October 23, 2024 by email to jameson.grettah@dol.gov. Virtual meeting attendance will be made available on the ACCSH website in advance of the meeting. Those interested in providing comments during the meeting must register by October 23, 2024 through the federal eRulemaking portal here using Docket No. OSHA-2024-0002.
