Immigration and Customs Enforcement reported that its agents have been arresting undocumented immigrants in the U.S. at a rate of 700 per day since President Trump’s Inauguration. The report showed arrests totaled 66,463 undocumented immigrants over the first 100 days, of which 65,682 were removed from the U.S. With respect to its worksite enforcement operations, ICE-Homeland Security Investigations reported that the agency “has arrested more than 1,000 illegal workers and proposed over $1 million in fines against businesses that exploit and hire illegal workers.”
