Immigration and Customs Enforcement Removal Operations released a quarterly dashboard showing “for the first time” information on trends in arrests, detentions, removals, and alternatives to detention. The current dashboard reflects statistics as of October 2024 and includes information on arrests by country of citizenship for those individuals with U.S. criminal convictions, pending criminal charges in the U.S., or “no convictions or pending charges but who have broken U.S. immigration laws including visa overstays and Visa Waiver Program violators.” Per the dashboard, the top ten cities in arrests are: (1) Dallas, TX; (2) Houston, TX; (3) New Orleans, LA; (4) Miami, FL; (5) Chicago, IL; (6) Newark, NJ; (7) New York, NY; (8) Atlanta, GA; (9) San Antonio, TX; and (10) Los Angeles, CA.
