House Republicans held elections to nominate lawmakers to lead the House Republican Conference in the 119th Congress. Following the elections: (1) Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) was nominated to continue serving as House Speaker; (2) Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) was nominated to continue serving as House Majority Leader; (3) Rep. Tom Emmer (R-MN) was nominated to continue serving as House Majority Whip; (4) Rep. Lisa McClain (R-MI) was nominated to be GOP Conference Chair; (5) Rep. Blake Moore (R-UT) was nominated as GOP Conference Vice Chair; and (6) Rep. Richard Hudson (R-NC) was nominated to continue serving as Chair of the National Republican Congressional Committee.
