Specifically, DOL highlights that the average starting salary after an apprentice completes an apprenticeship program is $80,000/year, that 90% of apprentices retain employment after apprenticeship completion, and apprentice graduates earn more than $300,000 more over their lifetime compared to peers who do not participate in an apprenticeship.
