The U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, Women’s Bureau, Wage and Hour Department, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced a webinar entitled “Build a Brighter Future Engaging Women in Construction” on March 9, 2022.
The webinar features a panel discussion to: (1) learn about career opportunities for women in construction; (2) learn how to succeed as a woman in construction and other male dominated/majority male industries; (3) receive information on how job training programs can recruit and retain more women; (4) get information about apprenticeship programs and opportunities; and (5) learn about the rights, protections, and the resources available to workers.
