The Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division (WHD) announced an online seminar on August 29, 2024 for unions, contractors, contracting agencies, workers, and other stakeholders to discuss requirements for paying prevailing wages on federally funded construction and service contracts. The day-long seminar will offer sessions on the labor standards protections in the Davis-Bacon Act and Service Contract Act, including how WHD sets and administers prevailing wages.
The seminar will be held on August 29, 2024 from 11am to 5:30pm ET and registration can be completed here. Additional information and a link to join the online seminar will be sent to individuals after they register.
