Appeals Court Blocks Trump Administration from Ending Temporary Protected Status for Venezuelans

A three-judge panel in the Ninth Circuit rejected a bid by the Trump Administration to set aside a judge’s order that the Administration unlawfully rolled back Temporary Protected Status (TPS)  for 600,000 Venezuelans living in the U.S. The court found that “vacating and terminating Venezuela’s TPS status threw the future of these Venezuelan citizens into disarray and exposed them to a substantial risk of wrongful removal, separation from their families, and loss of employment.”
