Amazon announced plans to spend $10 billion to build new data centers in Richmond County, North Carolina to expand its artificial intelligence infrastructure. The investment is expected to create 500 jobs in the state. Amazon also said that it will being training and education programs, fiber optic fusion splicing workshops, and STEM awareness and learning opportunities for K-12 schools.
