President Trump said that his Administration will release new rules and regulations on migrant farm labor and “work with” farmers to find a solution for their immigrant workers who have been working in the country illegally. Specifically, the President suggested the White House was working on a touchback program for some workers that requires them to leave the U.S. and re-enter through a legal pathway. It remains to be seen if such actions will be taken for other industries.
